Description
Job: RN Operating Room (OR)
Location: Walla Walla, WA
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hrs/week • On-site
Schedule
- 5x8s, variable day shifts (alternating AM/PM)
- AM: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- PM: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- On-call required: 1 weeknight/week + 1 weekend every 6 weeks
- Callback expectation: Must be able to respond within 20 minutes when on call
- Weekends: Call only
- 48-hour schedule: Not approved
Unit / Role Highlights
- OR Circulating RN (patient ratio typically 1:1)
- Floating between units: No
- Variety of cases including (not limited to): General, Ortho, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and OB (C-sections)
- Technology/skills exposure may include robotics and specialized OR equipment (as applicable)
Required Qualifications
- Recent OR Circulating experience (required)
- Travel experience (minimum 1 year)
- Not accepting first-time travelers
- EPIC experience (required)
- BLS
- Active WA RN license or compact RN license (must be valid at time of submission)
Preferred
- OR Charge experience
Common Skills/Procedures (examples)
- Circulating C-sections
- Total joints, open reduction of fractures
- Lap procedures (general + GYN), hernia repairs, appendectomy, cholecystectomy
- Spine cases (e.g., laminectomy/discectomy, cervical fusion)
- Universal Protocol / time out process
Time Off / Scheduling Requests
- One pre-approved time-off period allowed
- All RTO/scheduling requests must be provided at time of submission (post-submission requests typically not approved)

- Confirmation of: OR circulating experience, EPIC, travel experience, and ability to meet 20-min callback when on call
