Description

RN – Pre-Op/PACU | Travel Contract

Shift: Variable Day Shifts (No Block Scheduling)

Pre-Op: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
PACU: 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
On-Call Shift: 11:30 AM–10:00 PM, followed by call from 10:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekend Call: Approximately every 4–5 weeks (Saturday 7:00 AM–Monday 7:00 AM)

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent Pre-Op/PACU experience
Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications
Must be willing to float between Pre-Op and PACU
Charge RN experience highly preferred
EPIC experience preferred
Every other major holiday required
Previous travel experience preferred (strong first-time travelers considered)

Unit Highlights:

Surgical specialties include General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Orthopedics (Total Joints, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, Hand), Vascular, and select IR procedures
Experience with occasional PACU pressor support (e.g., Neo-Synephrine) preferred
