Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Contract Opportunity
Location: Ephrata, PA
Setting: Inpatient Mental Health Unit
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Schedule Preferred: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Alternate Schedule Considered: Sunday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Position Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) collaborates with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement patient care plans for individuals requiring social work services. The clinician will provide counseling, crisis intervention, and psychosocial support to patients experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges within an inpatient mental health environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
- Provide crisis intervention and psychosocial assessments
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
- Develop and contribute to patient treatment plans
- Support discharge planning and resource coordination as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania clinical license in one of the following:
- LCSW
- LPC
- LMFT
- PsyD
- PhD
- LSW or LAPC may be considered if accompanied by an active CAADC certification
- Minimum one year of relevant behavioral health/social work experience preferred
- BLS
