📍 Akron, Ohio | Summa Health – Level I Trauma Center
📅Contract: 8 Weeks | 07/12/2026 – 09/05/2026
⏰Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
🏥Facility: Adult Acute Care | Level I Trauma Center
🗓 RTO: Maximum 5 Days Accepted
 

Position Highlights:
 

✔ Work in a busy Adult Level I Trauma Center
✔ No On-Call Requirements
✔ Join a highly skilled Respiratory Care team
✔ RRT Preferred – CRT candidates considered if Registry Eligible with relevant experience.
 

Requirements:
 

✅ Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
✅ Active RRT credential preferred
✅ CRT candidates accepted if Registry Eligible and experienced
✅ BLS required (ACLS preferred)
✅ Experience working in acute care and critical care environments
✅ Strong ventilator management skills.
 

Equipment Experience Preferred:
 

• PB 980 Ventilator
• PB 840 Ventilator
• V60 Non-Invasive Ventilator
• Epoc Handheld Blood Gas Analyzer
• ParaPacPlus Transport Ventilator
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Assess patients and provide respiratory therapies per physician orders
• Monitor and document patient response to treatment
• Administer medical gases, aerosolized medications, and ventilator support
• Participate in emergency response and CPR events
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
