🏥 Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Oncology unit. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, supporting both their physical and emotional well-being.

You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to best practices and clinical standards.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to oncology patients
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies
Perform health teaching and counseling for patients and families
Monitor and evaluate treatment responses and adjust care plans accordingly
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
Delegate tasks and supervise support staff as appropriate
Float to other units as needed based on patient care demands

✅ Requirements

Active RN License (state of practice required)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required (BSN preferred)
BLS (AHA) Certification required
Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP as applicable

Experience:

Previous RN experience required
Oncology or Med/Surg experience preferred
