Travel RN – PACU (Days)
Texas | 13 Week Contract
Position Details
- Specialty: PACU / Peri-Anesthesia
- Shift: Days – 5x8s
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Call Requirement: Yes – approximately 6–8 days/month (self-scheduled)
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum 1 weekend shift per contract
- Charting: Cerner preferred
- Travel Experience: Required (first-time travelers considered with strong experience)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years PACU experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH required
- Level II trauma experience preferred
- Strong pediatric PACU experience required
- Critical care background preferred
Unit Highlights
- Level III Trauma Center
- 21-bed PACU
- Patient population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Daily census: ~30 patients
- Must be comfortable with Pre-Op Holding coverage

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
