🩺 Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (L&D RNs) for a 13-week travel assignment in Brighton, CO. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns, supporting patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and are passionate about maternal and newborn care.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in Labor & Delivery
- Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Provide patient education, emotional support, and health counseling
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with deliveries and emergency interventions as needed
- Accurately document patient care in compliance with hospital standards
- Respond to changing patient conditions in a timely and professional manner
- Float to other units as needed (within scope)
- Participate in on-call rotation if required
✅ Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado (or compact)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS – Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ASN minimum)
- Strong L&D clinical experience preferred
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
