We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech (OR Tech) to join a dynamic Operating Room team in Billings, MT. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and successful surgical procedures by maintaining sterile environments and assisting surgeons during operations.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile supplies for procedures
Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control standards
Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating procedural needs
Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts per protocol
Handle specimens, implants, and surgical materials appropriately
Support room turnover, cleaning, and restocking between procedures
Recognize and respond to emergency situations in the OR
Ensure compliance with safety protocols including sharps and fire safety
Assist with sterile processing and equipment care as needed
Collaborate with nurses and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

✅ Requirements

Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program OR
- Equivalent military training OR
- Minimum 2 years recent scrub tech experience
BLS (AHA) certification – required
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Flexibility for variable shifts, including possible on-call

At least 1 year of OR scrubbing experience
