ER RN – Danville, VA

Specialty: Emergency Room (ER RN)
Shift: 3x12s | 36 Guaranteed Hours
Start Dates: Bi-weekly Orientation (Tuesdays)
Facility: 250-bed Academic Community Hospital

Key Requirements

5+ years of recent ER experience REQUIRED
ICU + ED experience is a plus
Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- PALS or ENPC
- Handle With Care (available onsite)
Must be willing to float as needed
Travelers must complete criminal questionnaire and consent to random drug screening

Unit Details

31 ER beds + 2 triage rooms
7 beds designated for Behavioral Health/Acute patients
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4
Serves all age groups (Peds, Adult, Geriatric)
Charting Systems:
- MedHost (Primary ED EMR)
- Meditech (Admit holds & Behavioral Health patients)

Schedule & Requirements

36 hours guaranteed
Rotating weekends/as needed
No call required
Float as needed
