Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU environment.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Evaluate patient status and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Assist physicians with neonatal patient care and clinical procedures.
• Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Manage and coordinate care for assigned patients to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with nursing standards and patient acuity.
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and support innovative patient care initiatives.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform additional clinical duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license:
  • New Jersey State RN License or
  • Multi-State Compact License
• Minimum 1+ year of recent experience in related specialty (NICU/Pediatrics/PICU).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current certifications required:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NRP (AHA Only)
