🩺 Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-performing recovery unit in Billings, MT. In this role, you will provide critical post-anesthesia care, monitor patients recovering from surgery, and ensure safe, effective transitions through the recovery phase.
This is a great opportunity for nurses experienced in post-operative care who thrive in fast-paced, patient-focused environments.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate post-anesthesia patient care
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses during recovery
- Administer medications and manage pain control
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Float to other units if needed (within scope)
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
✅ Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Montana or compact)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS and PALS – Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ASN minimum)
- Strong PACU or critical care experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
