CVOR RN – Cardiac Surgery Operating Room

Required Experience

• 3–5 years recent CVOR experience
• Strong experience in both:
  • Scrubbing
  • Circulating

Required Surgical Case Experience

Candidates must have recent experience with:

✅ CABG (Primary & Redo)

✅ Aortic Aneurysm Repairs

✅ AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement)

✅ MVR (Mitral Valve Replacement)

✅ TAVR

✅ ECMO

✅ VAD

✅ Complex Thoracic Procedures

✅ Complex Vascular Procedures

Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus but not required.

Certifications

Required

• BLS (AHA only)

Preferred

• CNOR

Additional Requirements

• Call Required
• Overtime may be required
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong critical-thinking and multitasking ability
• Comfortable working in a research-focused cardiac surgery environment
• Strong team player

Holiday Requirements

Traveler must be available for:

One Summer Holiday

• Memorial Day OR
• July 4th OR
• Labor Day

One Winter Holiday

• Thanksgiving OR
• Christmas

Time-Off Policy

⚠️ Any requested time off must be disclosed before submission.

⚠️ Approved RTO must be added to the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 working weeks.
