Description

Role & Responsibilities

A Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) in this facility will:

Provide direct patient care to adult psychiatric patients.
Assess patients' mental and physical health status.
Administer medications and monitor responses.
Implement and evaluate treatment plans.
Assist psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
Manage patients in crisis situations.
Document patient care using paper charting and HCS for orders/medications.
Monitor patient safety and maintain therapeutic environments.
Float to all assigned adult behavioral health units as needed.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge plans.
