Job Title: Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology (EP Lab)

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Shift: Full-Time, 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (Monday – Friday, variable between 06:00 AM – 07:00 PM)

Setting: 885-Bed, Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EP Registered Nurse to join our team-oriented, high-volume Electrophysiology Department. In this role, you will care for patients undergoing cardiac arrhythmia treatments, working alongside specialized physicians and fellows in a state-of-the-art teaching environment. You will be responsible for scrubbing, circulating, and documenting complex EP procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for EP procedures, including Ablations, CRM Devices, and LAAO (Laser Lead Extraction experience is a plus).
• Manage patient care during nurse-led moderate sedation, including airway management and Isuprel drips.
• Perform arterial/venous sheath management and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Operate advanced lab technology, including CARTO, Rhythmia, and 3D mapping systems.
• Participate in a balanced schedule rotation, including 3–5 late days per month to finish ongoing cases and a rotating Saturday schedule (as needed).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active experience in an EP Lab setting.
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in sterile technique, advanced arrhythmia interpretation, and experience with EPIC/Cupid EMR is preferred.
