Description

Social Services Practitioner (MSW)

Renders clinical psychosocial services to the patients and their families of all ages (neonate to geriatric). Assesses patient?s psychosocial needs and makes referrals to appropriate facilities or community agencies; and provides crisis intervention and bereavement counseling.

Requirements

Day Shift 5 x 8s 8am to 4:30pm M - F with occasional weekend shift. Located at Vallejo. Must have CPI and BLS. CPI can be provided on site after hire, if needed. 1year of experience at least.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor?s): Required
• Master?s Degree in social work or equivalent combination of education/experience: Required
• Three years' experience in a social agency, hospital, or other organization dealing with health and/or welfare: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW): Preferred

Department Specific License/Certifications:

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A: Required
