Neuro/Surgical Telemetry RN – Travel Contract | Day Shift

🕒 Shift: 3x12 Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Position Overview

Join a busy Neuro/Surgical Telemetry unit caring for adult patients with neurological and post-surgical conditions. Travelers must be flexible with floating and weekend/holiday scheduling.

Requirements

✅ Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg-Telemetry experience

✅ Travel experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted)

✅ Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Active Tennessee RN License or Compact RN License

EMR Requirement

⚠️ Epic experience within the last 12 months is required.

• Epic experience must be clearly documented on the submission profile, including where it was used.

Scheduling

• 3x12 Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• No Call
• 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Must be willing to work Memorial Day

Floating

• Required to float to other Med/Surg-Telemetry units as needed
• May float to ICU to care for low-acuity patients within RN skill set

Ideal Candidate

✔ Strong Neuro/Med-Surg Telemetry background

✔ Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and post-surgical patients

✔ Recent Epic experience

✔ Flexible with floating and weekend scheduling

✔ Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
