Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Macon, GA 31201

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8hr Night Shift - 40 hours/week

Shift Information: 11p-7a monday through friday night

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend Rotation: Only if hired for weekends or for call requirements

Holiday Requirements: Will work or cover call if fall on the weekend

Floating Requirements: No

o Level 1 Trauma Designation
o Teaching Hospital
o Chest Pain Center
o Stroke Center

● Department Information:
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 3-4 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

● Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o BLS
o CRST or CBSPD is required

● Skills required:
o Completion of an accredited program for Sterile Processing Tech

● Support within the Department:
o OR Director and AVP for Surgical Services to include Sterile Processing

● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment: CensiTrac

● Floating: If yes, where?
o No

o NEO
o 2 days departmental

o Scrub Color: Surgical Green- scrubs are issued
