Schedule & Call Requirements

• Full-Time Position
• Standard operating hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities include weekends and holidays.
  • Weekend call begins Friday at 5:30 PM and ends Monday at 7:00 AM.
  • Must be able to arrive on-site within 1 hour when called.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Technical or Associate Degree program in Radiology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a related field.

Experience

• Experience in echocardiography is preferred.
• Candidates should be proficient in transthoracic echocardiography (TTE).
• Less than one year of experience may be considered if all credentialing requirements are met.

Certifications

Candidates must hold one of the following credentials at the time of hire:

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Additional requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Additional vascular credentials such as RVT or RVS are considered a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Strong proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography.
• Experience with Philips iE33 and EPIQ ultrasound systems.
• Ability to educate, mentor, and collaborate with team members and trainees.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
