Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performing rapid patient assessment and triage
Stabilizing critically ill or injured patients
Administering medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
Initiating and maintaining IV lines, blood draws, and labs
Assisting with airway management (including intubation support)
Monitoring and responding to life-threatening changes in condition
Managing care for diverse cases (trauma, cardiac, respiratory, pediatric, etc.)
Documenting all care in Epic EMR system
Coordinating with physicians, respiratory therapy, lab, pharmacy, and other departments
Prioritizing patients based on severity (critical thinking under pressure)
Supporting trauma and resuscitation situations in a Level I Trauma Center

BLS (AHA certified)
ACLS (AHA certified)
PALS (AHA certified)
TNCC certification
NIHSS
