• Position: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Target Start Date: ASAP / 07/20/2026
• Hours: 36 hours per week (Guaranteed)
• Shift: Days (06:30 - 18:30) or Nights (18:30 - 06:30) available.
  • Schedule Details: Every other weekend required (defined strictly as Saturday and Sunday). Self-scheduling is used for core staff; travelers will be integrated to fill scheduling gaps. Blocked scheduling is not guaranteed unless it is for weekend-only shifts.

Job Description & Unit Details

Join a high-acuity 33-bed Intensive Care Unit with an average daily census of 16 patients. This unit provides comprehensive critical care to an adult patient population, operating with dedicated telemetry tech oversight and supportive healthcare tech floor coverage.

• Patient Ratios: 1:2 to 1:3 depending on adult patient acuity.
• Clinical Diagnoses: Trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, adult sepsis, post-stent recovery, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress.
• Drip Titration: Required. Must be fully competent independently titrating and managing critical care drips including all cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation.
• Respiratory Scope: Required to manage respiratory interventions stretching from standard nasal cannulas up to mechanical ventilators.
• Telemetry: Continuous monitoring utilizing GE brand systems. RNs are required to independently read, interpret, and document rhythm strips.
• Floating Policy: Required. Travelers will typically float to PCU and occasionally to Med-Surg. While floated, you will inherit the standard patient ratios of those floors (1:4 or 1:5).

On-Call & Holiday Requirements

• Call Response: If placed on-call and called back into the facility, you must maintain a strict 30-minute physical arrival window to the hospital.
• Holidays: Must work a minimum of 2 major holidays that fall within the active 13-week contract window.
