Location: Concord, North Carolina
Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 89 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Level III Trauma Center
Stroke Center of Excellence
Bariatric Center of Excellence
Chest Pain Center

Unit Information

19 OR suites (17 blocked rooms)
Approximately 50 surgical cases per day
Advanced Spine Surgery Certified

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of Surgical Tech experience
Neuro Spine experience required
BLS required
Surgical Tech certification preferred (not required)
First-time travelers not accepted
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Candidates must be able to scrub:

Trauma
Orthopedic Trauma
Total Joints
Spine (required)
Cardiac
Vascular
GYN & GYN Oncology
Robotics
General Surgery
HPB
Bariatrics
Urology
ENT
Eyes
Pain
Plastics

Scheduling

Every 4th weekend rotation
Call required (approximately 6 call shifts every 6 weeks)
45-minute response time for call
Travelers work 75% of holidays
EPIC EMR
Free parking
No floating
2-day departmental orientation

Must-Have Skills:

BLS
Minimum 5 years of OR Surgical Tech experience
Neuro Spine experience

Preferred:

Surgical Tech Certification
