Description
- Profession: Allied Health
- Specialty: Respiratory Therapist (Adult RT / RRT)
- Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy critical care experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- NC Respiratory Therapy License
- RRT required (CRT acceptable but not preferred)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Previous Level I Trauma or high-acuity hospital experience preferred
Patient Population
- Adult patients
- ICU and Medical/Surgical units
- Common diagnoses include:
- Post-surgical patients
- Pneumonia
- COPD
- Asthma
- Emergency Department patients
Preferred Equipment Experience
- Servo U
- Servo Air
- The Vest
- Volara
- Aerogen
- Heated High Flow
- Cough Assist
- (Pediatrics experience with HFJV/HFOV is a plus but not required)
Scheduling
- Every other weekend
- No on-call
- Travelers work 75% of holidays
- 1–2 days departmental orientation
- EPIC EMR
- Free parking
- Scrub color: Pewter (Charcoal Grey)
Must-Have Skills:
- Adult Critical Care Respiratory Therapy experience
- NC License
- RRT (CRT acceptable)
- BLS & ACLS
Good to Have:
- Level I Trauma Center experience
- Experience with the listed respiratory equipment
