Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Glenview, IL

Location: Glenview, IL
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
 

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a high-volume cardiovascular surgery team. This position focuses on circulating in the CVOR, with exposure to open-heart and vascular procedures in a collaborative surgical environment.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN license
• Minimum 3 years of recent CVOR circulating experience
• Epic EMR experience
• Open-heart and endovascular/cardiac experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Circulate during cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to ensure safe patient care
• Float to other areas as needed
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as required

Call Requirements:

• 2-hour minimum callback
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes

Orientation & Additional Information:

• 3–5 days of orientation (16 non-billable hours)
• Initial vascular and open-heart cases will be completed alongside a preceptor
• Credentialing requires CBC, drug screen, and QuantiFERON Gold (completed within 90 days)
