Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Operating Room (OR) RN for a 13-week day-shift contract at Harris Regional Hospital, a beautiful 86-bed acute care Duke LifePoint facility nestled in the picturesque small town of Sylva, NC. Enjoy working a stable 4-day schedule with a collaborative team right at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains!

Facility Details & Unit Highlights:

• Facility: Harris Regional Hospital
• Unit: Operating Room (7 OR Suites, 1:1 Patient Ratio)
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts (Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri). No regular weekends.
• On-Call: Very low. A designated call team handles primary needs; travelers only cover occasional staff PTO.
• Charting System: Paragon
• Scrubs: Provided by the facility!

Required Case Proficiencies:

Candidates must be comfortable circulating a diverse community-hospital case mix:

• Ortho & General Surgery
• C-Sections & GYN (including Myosure/Novasure)
• Urology
• ENT & Dental (both adult and pediatric populations)
• Pain Management

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ years of recent acute care OR experience AND at least 1 completed travel assignment.
• Active North Carolina or Compact RN License.
• Strict Radius Rule: Must reside 60+ miles away from the facility to receive the listed travel rate.
• Up-to-date BLS certification.
• Ability to blend seamlessly into a close-knit, family-oriented work culture.
