👩‍⚕️ Patient Care & Ratios

1:1 – High-risk labor & C-sections
1:2 – Antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, postpartum on magnesium
1:3 – Postpartum (no baby), outpatient cases

🔍 Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to laboring and postpartum patients
Assist with C-sections and inductions
Monitor fetal and maternal status (EFM, Doppler, etc.)
Perform procedures such as AROM, IUPC, and fetal monitoring
Collaborate with physicians, OB hospitalists, and care teams

✅ Requirements

Must-Have:

Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care L&D experience
Active RN license
Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- EFM-C or AWHONN

Preferred:

Experience circulating C-sections
High-risk L&D experience
