Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift travel assignment at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. If you are a team-oriented nurse who excels in a fast-paced environment with a strong mix of telemetry and post-op orthopedic patients, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly supportive unit!

Facility Details & Unit Highlights:

• Facility: Catholic Medical Center (Level III Trauma Center / HCA Healthcare Family)
• Unit: E100 – Med/Surg Telemetry & Ortho (48 beds, average census of 27)
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 on Days (with strong PCT support tracking at 1:10–15)
• Charting System: Altera / Allscripts Sunrise
• Dress Code: Flexible! Any color solid scrubs are accepted (closed-toe shoes required, no Crocs).

Key Responsibilities & Scope:

• Manage adult and geriatric populations requiring cardiac monitoring, post-operative orthopedic recovery, and general acute care.
• Administer and manage critical IV medications and titratable lines, including Heparin and Lasix drips, as well as IVP Metoprolol and Diltiazem.
• Maintain complex lines and tubes: NGT/G-tubes, parenteral nutrition, PICC lines, midlines, HD catheters, wound vacs, and various urinary/nephrostomy drainage systems.
• Collaborate actively with physicians and ancillary staff during daily Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDRs) weekday mornings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care Med/Surg Telemetry or Ortho experience.
• Active New Hampshire or Compact RN License in hand at the time of submission.
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Strict Radius Rule: Permanent tax address must be 50+ miles away from the facility to qualify for the travel rate.
• Prior experience within an HCA Healthcare facility is a major plus!
