Description
Position Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and procedural interventions. The PACU RN monitors patients during the immediate post-anesthesia period, manages pain and potential complications, and ensures a safe recovery before discharge or transfer to the appropriate unit.
SHIFT: 40 hours 2x12 hours shifts and 2x8 hour shifts 7a-7p, 8a-8p, 9a-9p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p, 10a-6p, 11a-7p
Possible weekend Saturdays 7a-3p
ON-CALL: Yes, call 3-4 per 6-week schedule.
Weekend requirement 8-hour shift of call starting on Saturday thru Monday morning.

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
