RN – Stepdown / Med-Surg | Travel Assignment | Morgantown, WV

Join a prestigious teaching hospital and one of the region's leading academic medical centers. We're seeking experienced Stepdown and Med-Surg Registered Nurses for multiple units within a busy Level I Trauma Center offering a diverse patient population and excellent clinical experience.

Available Units

• Stepdown
• Stepdown/Med-Surg
• Medical-Surgical

Assignments are based on unit needs and candidate experience.

Requirements

• Active RN License (license pending accepted)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Stepdown and/or Med-Surg experience
• Recent Epic experience required
• Comfortable caring for both Stepdown and Med-Surg patient populations
• Telemetry experience preferred

Patient Population

• Medical-Surgical
• Stepdown
• Chest Pain
• COPD
• Pneumonia
• UTI
• Abdominal Pain
• Altered Mental Status (AMS)
• General Acute Care
• Overflow Medical Patients

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for Stepdown and Med-Surg patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Monitor telemetry patients and recognize changes in condition
• Manage IV therapies and titratable drips as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Float to other Stepdown/Med-Surg units when needed

Submission Requirements

• Driver's license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• Unexpired driver's license required with submission
