Description

  • Position: Registered Nurse – MedSurg/Telemetry
  • Location: Macon, Georgia
  • Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Schedule: 3×12 Hours
  • Hours: 36 Hours/Week
  • Contract Length: 89 Days (Approximately 13 Weeks)

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • 6 months of EPIC experience required

  • Medical-Surgical patients
  • Telemetry patients
  • Cardiac (CHF, A-fib, Post-Cath)
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedic
  • Trauma
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Infections
  • Electrolyte imbalances

Patient Ratios

  • RN: 1:4–6
  • LPN: 1:4–6
  • CNA: Up to 1:14

Required Certifications

  • BLS (Required)
  • ACLS (Preferred) – Must pass an EKG competency exam during onboarding
  • Med-Surg Certification (Preferred)

  • Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
  • Post-cath patient care

  • Peripheral IV starts and IV maintenance

Floating

  • Required to float to all MedSurg/Telemetry units
  • May also float to the Emergency Department for holds
