Description
We're seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to join a nationally recognized Level I Trauma, Children's, and Teaching Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume L&D department while expanding your experience in advanced maternal care.
Position Highlights
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 4x12-hour schedule
- 36 or 48-hour contracts available
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- First-time travelers welcome
- New Mexico license may be pending at submission
- COVID-19 vaccination not required (declination accepted)
- Free parking
- Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Experience in a large Labor & Delivery unit
- Current:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP (must be in hand prior to start)
- RQI certifications are NOT accepted
- Circulating C-sections experience
- External & Internal Fetal Monitoring (EFM/FHM)
- Strong postpartum and newborn care experience including:
- Baby Nurse
- Meconium deliveries
- Postpartum care (3s/4s preferred; 2s may be considered for screening)
