Travel Float Pool Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) – North Carolina

Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Float Pool Stepdown RN to provide high-quality patient care across intermediate care units in a hospital setting. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable floating between units while caring for complex patients.

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN License
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of current Intermediate/Stepdown nursing experience (required)
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN required
• BSN or MSN preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
• Perform patient assessments, care planning, and patient education
• Monitor and care for intermediate/stepdown patients with complex medical needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Assist with discharge planning and bedside point-of-care testing
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote patient safety and quality outcomes
