💙 Travel RN Opportunity – PCU/Cardiac Stepdown | Englewood, CO | Nights | $Competitive Pay
I'm hiring an experienced PCU/Progressive Care RN for a 13-week travel contract at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Englewood, CO.
📍 Unit: Cardiac Progressive Care (30 Beds)
🕖 Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
🩺 Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4 (occasionally 1:5)
📋 EMR: Meditech
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
- Active BLS & ACLS
- Comfortable caring for high-acuity cardiac patients
💓 Preferred Experience:
- Chest tube management & removal
- Pacer wire removal
- 12-lead EKGs
- Oxygen management (up to BiPAP & Heated High Flow)
- Cardiac drips: Heparin, Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Lasix, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Ketamine
🏥 Patient Population:
- Post-cardiac cath (Right/Left Heart Caths)
- TAVR, Ablation, Watchman, Pacemakers
- CABG, Valve Replacement & Aortic Repair recovery
- Thoracic surgery (VATS/RATS, Lobectomy)
- Vascular surgery post-op care
