Job Description:

We are seeking a flexible and skilled Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift travel assignment at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono Creek in Bartonsville, PA. This position is a fantastic opportunity for experienced acute care nurses looking to jump into the travel nursing industry, as first-time travel nurses are warmly accepted!

Facility Details & Unit Highlights:

• Facility: Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono Creek
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• On-Call Requirements: None!
• Dress Code: Solid Navy Blue scrubs.

Key Responsibilities & Scope:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and high-acuity conditions.
• Actively manage rapid assessment, stabilization, and intervention protocols within a 1:6 ratio framework.
• Maintain network flexibility—this position requires floating to regional sister campuses if an operational need arises, including LVH Pocono Creek, Macungie, and Gilbertsville.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of recent inpatient acute care ER experience.
• Active Pennsylvania RN License in hand at time of submission.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Must be comfortable with regional network floating and working an every-other-weekend/holiday rotation (no block scheduling available).
• Onboarding Compliance: Must be prepared to complete clinical modules, pass a mandatory system-wide Pass/Fail competency exam, and complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting immediately upon signing.
• Strict Radius Rule: Permanent tax address must be 50+ miles away from the facility to qualify for the full travel package.
