- Position: Endoscopy RN
- Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Minimum Distance Requirement: Candidate must live 50+ miles from the facility.
Schedule and Requirements
- Monday through Friday day shift.
- 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Travel experience is preferred.
- BSN is highly desired.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience required.
- 3+ years of Endoscopy experience strongly required/preferred per facility notes.
- Experience performing comprehensive patient assessments and providing age-appropriate care.
- Ability to assess, interpret, and respond to patient care needs throughout the endoscopy procedure.
Required Certifications
- Active RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- BSN – Highly Desired (not required)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care to Endoscopy patients.
- Perform comprehensive admission, initial, and ongoing patient assessments.
- Review body systems and document findings according to facility policy.
- Assess patient needs and develop appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide age-appropriate care across the patient lifespan.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after endoscopy procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Additional Information
- Travel experience is preferred.
- BSN candidates are highly preferred.
- Facility is seeking experienced Endoscopy RNs with strong clinical assessment skills.
- Position requires excellent documentation and adherence to regulatory and facility standards.
