Description
Position Type: Travel/Contract RN
Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week (guaranteed hours when available)
Shift: Days — 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays as needed (weekend availability required as needed)
On-Call: None

Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Wound/Ostomy Care Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care using the nursing process in accordance with state practice standards and hospital policies. This RN will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership while coordinating safe, high-quality patient care and supervising delegated tasks as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based wound and ostomy nursing care and patient education
- Assess patients, develop plans of care, and evaluate outcomes
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain clinical competencies and support unit workflow through strong communication and leadership
Requirements
- 2+ years of recent Wound Care RN experience in a hospital setting
- Active Texas RN license or compact
