Description
Minimum of 2 years' ICU experience, including Cardiac experience.
Willing to float to PCU and Med Surg, as needed.
Experience with IABP.
Experience with Impella.
Experience with CRRT.
Experience with Day 2/Day 3 post-op CABGs.
BLS.
ACLS.
PALS (PALS is required for all; Peds experience is highly preferred).
NIHSS.
NE or compact license - active and in good standing.
EPIC experience.
UNIT DETAILS:
• Bed Size: 10 Beds (average daily census: 5+).
• Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 (lower acuity).
• Common diagnoses / types of patients: "Open hearts, CHF, COPD, OD, Sepsis, CVAs w/ TPA, DKA, some Neuro (no ICP yet), TeleStroke program.".
• "Adults & patients under the age of 8 will be admitted to the ICU.
Peds over 8 years of age will be in the PCU or Med Surg, unless they require ICU level of care or need to be transferred out.".
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue, Black, or Charcoal grey.
