Unit

• Primary assignment with the possibility of floating to the HROB (High-Risk Obstetrics) Unit as needed.
• HROB has 16 rooms and cares for:
  • Early induction patients
  • Antepartum patients requiring continuous fetal monitoring

Floating Requirements

Travelers must be willing to float, within their competency, to any of these five hospitals:

• Voorhees
• Marlton
• Mount Holly
• Willingboro
• Our Lady of Lourdes (OLOL)

Experience & Certifications

Required:

• Minimum 2.5 years of experience
• Active New Jersey RN license at the time of submission
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP

Preferred:

• EPIC charting experience

Scheduling

• Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
• Every Other Holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not allowed

Time-Off Policy

• All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with the application.
• RTO requests after submission will not be accepted.

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Voorhees is a Level III High-Risk Obstetrics facility.
• Travelers living within 50 miles of the hospital receive a rate $5/hour lower than the standard traveler rate.

Mandatory Dysrhythmia Test

Within 72 hours of signing the contract, you must:

• Pass the dysrhythmia exam.
• You have 2 attempts only.
• The exam must be taken on a Windows PC or Mac (not an iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad).
• Failure to complete the exam within 72 hours, taking it on an incompatible iOS device, or failing both attempts will result in:
  • Contract cancellation
  • Potential Do Not Return (DNR) status within the hospital system
