Shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
Certification: BLS (AHA),ACLS (AHA),NIHSS
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
· Hemodynamic monitoring- swans, art lines
· Ventilator management
· Strong critical thinking skills
· 2 years or more ICU experience
· ACLS
· BLS
· NIH REQUIRED
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
· IABP exposure
· CRRT exposure
· Meditech charting/ order entry – Preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
- ACTIVE TX RN License – NO TEMP LICENSE ACCEPTED
Procedures performed on unit:
· Post CABG
· Post VAD
· Post Cath with various cardiac support devices- IABP, Impella, ecmo
