Job Description:

We are seeking a highly professional, clinical leader for a 13-week travel contract as a House Supervisor / Facility Charge Nurse at Edgerton Hospital. In this pivotal night-shift role, you will serve as the central clinical resource, administrative liaison, and operational anchor for the entire facility. Facility Details & Leadership Highlights:

• Facility: Edgerton Hospital and Health Services
• Scope: Facility-wide oversight encompassing Acute Care, the Emergency Department, Surgery, the Birthing Center, and outpatient specialty wings.
• Charting System: Epic
• Dress Code: Solid Navy Blue scrubs (No agency logos).

Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope:

• Coordinate and evaluate the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by managing communication and patient flow across all disciplines and departments.
• Conduct regular facility rounds to assess needs, manage inter-departmental transfers, and direct proper clinical placement for incoming admissions.
• Serve as a direct clinical mentor and resource for night-shift nursing staff, assisting with hands-on patient care and staffing adjustments when volume peaks.
• Manage specialized after-hours facility demands, including emergency pharmacy access.
• Maintain readiness to activate and command the facility's Incident Command structure in the event of a Mass Casualty emergency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of recent acute care nursing experience with proven leadership/Charge Nurse background.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN is highly preferred.
• Active Wisconsin or Compact RN License in hand.
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS. (PALS, NRP, or TNCC are highly valued assets for facility-wide coverage).
• Exceptional communication skills, team accountability, and a collaborative "can-do" attitude.
• Strict Radius Rule: Permanent tax address must be 50+ miles away from the facility.
