Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Ambulatory Clinic (13-Week Assignment)
Facility
- Ambulatory/Outpatient Clinic
Department
- Outpatient Nuclear Medicine
- Average patient volume: 13–17 patients per day
- Small, close-knit team
- Support from a peer Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome
Required Credentials
- ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification
- BLS certification
- Valid Photo ID
- North Carolina state license is not required
Required Skills
- Strong Nuclear Medicine imaging skills
- IV start proficiency is required
Technology
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Orientation
- 3–5 days of department-specific orientation, depending on modality
Schedule
- 13-week assignment
- Tuesday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- No weekends
- No on-call requirements
- No holiday expectations
- Requested Time Off (RTO) subject to manager approval
