Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while supporting patient recovery, education, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks within scope of practice. Complete ongoing patient assessments, monitor changes in health status, implement treatment plans, and document care accurately. Provide patient education, health counseling, supportive care, and restorative treatment as appropriate.
The RN will collaborate with providers and the care team, refer patients for further evaluation or treatment when needed, and use available resources to support positive patient outcomes.
Additional Expectations:
Must be flexible to float to other departments within competency and qualifications based on facility need. May be required to take call during regularly scheduled shifts.
