Experience

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Experience in the following settings is required:
  • Outpatient
  • Inpatient
  • Emergency Department (ER)
  • Community Hospital
  • Adult ICU
• Must have experience with:
  • PACS
  • Contrast administration
  • Siemens MRI equipment
  • Cerner EMR
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Neuro MRI examinations (brain, perfusion, diffusion, etc.)
  • Vascular MRI examinations
  • Pre- and post-neurosurgery imaging
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong focus on patient safety.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Florida MRI Technologist License required.
• ARRT (Advanced MRI) certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Pending Florida licenses are not accepted.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required. Medical and religious exemptions are accepted in accordance with facility policy.

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 4x10s
• Hours: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: To be discussed during the interview, if applicable.
• On-Call: Yes, 2 call shifts per month.

Patient Volume

• Expected daily caseload: 15–25 patients per technologist.

Floating

• Floating within the facility: No.
• Floating to sister facilities: No.

Additional Requirements

• Local candidates are not accepted.
• Requested Time Off (RTO) must be included in the candidate profile at the time of submission.
• Block scheduling may be considered and will be discussed during the interview.

Department Information

• All neurosurgery MRI cases are performed in this department.
• Equipment includes two 3T Siemens MRI scanners (Trio and Skyra).
