Description
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient Hospital
Location: Olympia, WA
Assignment Type: 13 Weeks Travel Contract
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications.
- Prepare medication doses accurately following hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain medication inventory and replenish stock as needed.
- Manage medication deliveries to patient care units.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and hospital regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician License (Required).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) certification (Required).
- Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
