Experience

• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Must be comfortable caring for primarily adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients presenting through the Emergency Department.
• Majority of weekend shifts are night shifts, scheduled in 3-night blocks.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist License required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is strongly preferred, but not required.

Schedule

• Block scheduling required.
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, primarily 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM weekend night shifts.
• On-call: Not required.
• 48-hour workweeks: Not approved.

Staffing & Floating

• Expected staffing: 1 Respiratory Therapist per shift.
• Must be willing to float between units based on facility needs.

Patient Population

• Primarily adult patients.
• Pediatric patients are typically seen through the Emergency Department and are not commonly admitted outside of the ED.
• Facility does not see a high volume of critical cases, with most patient care following standardized protocols.
