Role: Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Quakertown, PA

Shift: 3 Pm - 11:30 Pm

Pay: 30-35$/Hr


Job Description

 

A LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), also called LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) in some states, provides basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians. LPNs work in nursing homes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living, rehab centers, and outpatient clinics.

 

Key Responsibilities

Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy (depending on state)

Check vital signs: blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration

Perform wound care, change bandages, and dress incisions

Collect lab samples (blood draws/venipuncture, urine)

Assist with IV setup and monitor IV sites
