  • Start Date: 07/27/2026
  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Days – 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Schedule:Block scheduling available
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • On-Call: Not required ❌
  • Float: No ❌
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1

✅ Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years OR RN experience (Surgical)
  • Travel Experience: Required
  • Trauma Experience: Level II required | Level I preferred
  • Charting: Epic (Required)
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Required)
    • ACLS (Preferred)
    • CNOR (Preferred) 

 

🔧 Skills & Case Mix (Highly Preferred)

We’re looking for candidates comfortable with a wide variety of cases, including:

🦴 Core Specialties:

  • Orthopedic: Total joints, fractures, arthroscopy
  • Neuro: Craniotomy, spinal fusions, laminectomy
  • General: Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair
  • Trauma: MVA, gunshot/stab wounds 

🤖 Robotics (Strong Plus):

  • Da Vinci Xi & DV5 systems
  • Urology, colorectal, gynecology, GI procedures 

❤️ Additional Experience:

  • Vascular procedures (AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy)
  • Bariatrics (gastric sleeve, bypass)
  • Urology (cystoscopy, prostatectomy)
  • ENT, Plastics, Endoscopy 

 

🧠 Clinical Responsibilities

  • Maintain sterile field & OR protocols
  • Assist in complex surgical procedures
  • Ensure patient safety, infection control, and documentation
  • Handle advanced equipment (laser, robotics, electrosurgical units)
  • Follow Universal Protocol (Time-Out), specimen handling, and safety standards
