Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights
Job Description
We are seeking a highly autonomous, seasoned Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Fauquier Medical Center in Warrenton, VA. This 97-bed acute care facility features a fast-paced, 24-hour Emergency Department serving patients across the entire age spectrum.

Position Details
- Start Date: 07-27-2026 (Matches the upcoming facility orientation schedule)
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM / 12-hour shifts)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Location: Warrenton, VA
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend

Unit & Clinical Information
- Patient Population: Comprehensive ER care across the entire age spectrum (geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients).
- Core Duties: Full-scope ER tasks including phlebotomy, IV starts, EKG rhythm tracking, splinting, wound care, and patient transport.
- Floating: Rare, but required to float to skill-appropriate units or as a general "set of hands" if needed.
- Call Requirements: None
Submission & Profile Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Emergency Room experience is required for this position to ensure immediate clinical autonomy.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are strictly required at the time of submission (must be fully active with nothing pending).
- Licensure: Active Virginia state nursing license or Compact/Multistate license in hand.
- Personality Fit: Team-oriented, patient-centered, and self-sufficient with a focus on delivering excellent patient and family experiences while meeting unit operational metrics.
