ER RN Travel Contract – Boston, MA

GLC Group is hiring an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Position Details:
• 36 hours per week
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other holiday
• Two weekends per 4-week schedule
• Travelers must be flexible to float to the Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED (caring for patients ages 15+ unless you have prior pediatric experience)

Requirements:
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience OR
• 2+ years of recent Level III/IV Emergency Department experience
• Must be able to independently interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
• Must pass a Telemetry Exam (85% or higher) on Day 1

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous travel experience
• EPIC experience
• Critical Care experience

Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Unit Highlights:
• Patient ratio: 1:4–5 (depending on acuity)
• Busy Level I Trauma Emergency Department
• Approximately 350–440 patient visits per day
• Up to 120 treatment areas
• Travelers will not be assigned to trauma rooms during the contract

• Candidates living within a 50-mile radius of the facility will be paid the local rate.
