💼 Assignment Details

  • Start Date: 07/28/2026
  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Shift Options:
    • 4x10s (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
    • OR 5x8s (based on unit need)
  • Variable Start Times: Between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Schedule Type: Rotating (includes weekends & call)
  • Float: Yes (between Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT)
  • On-Call: Required (weekday + rotating weekends)
    • ⏳ Call Hours: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM

✅ Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience
    • 🚨6 months PET experience REQUIRED (Hard Stop)
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted with 2+ years experience
  • Certifications Required:
    • ARRT (N) or NMTCB
    • Active California License
    • BLS (AHA)
  • Highly Preferred:
    • PET Certification
    • CT Advanced Certification
    • Epic experience
    • Siemens equipment experience 

 

🔬 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures
  • Administer and handle radiopharmaceuticals safely
  • Conduct a variety of studies including:
    • PET scans (Primary role)
    • Cardiac, bone, renal, V/Q, thyroid, and tumor imaging
  • Start IVs, draw blood, and monitor patients
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic 

 

📊 Unit & Workflow

  • 🛏️4 Rooms: 3 NM + 1 PET/CT
  • 📈Daily Volume:
    • 6–7 PET/CT scans/day
    • ~9 Nuclear Medicine studies/day
  • 👥 Patient Population: All ages (Neonates to Geriatrics)
  • 🔁 May float between PET and NM as needed
