Description
Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist
Location: Santa Cruz, California
Schedule: 8-Hour Evening Shifts
Pay: $3,336.00/week
- 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements
- Active California Pharmacist License (required)
- Hospital pharmacist experience required
- BLS Certification
- COVID-19 Vaccination (required)
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately.
- Verify physician medication orders and ensure safe medication therapy.
- Provide clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Monitor for drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing.
- Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile medications as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and patient safety standards.
